Story
Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm not sure how it happened... When I was at school I used to DREAD cross country; I used to run 100 yards, wheeze and walk the rest. But when I saw an advert in the newspaper for a 10km run last year in aid of Cancer Research UK, I thought, "why not?" My Dad, Tony Young, died of cancer in December 2008, and I felt inspired to dust off my running shoes - go out and buy some, in fact - to raise some money to help fight this horrible disease.
And I've got the bug, and I'm doing it again - in Manchester on Sunday, 16 May. And it's going to be on tele!
So if you would like to make a donation, please do.
And now the technical bit: -
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks for reading my random jottings... And look out for me in Manchester - or on tele - on 16 May.
ttfn
