Yes, I survived! 4 hours and 8 minutes - and although I am slightly disappointed at not having beaten the 4-hour mark, it was a fantastic experience and one I will definitely be repeating! 

It has been an amazing journey for me from deciding to get fit and start running 18 months ago.  Since then I have lost almost 4 stone in the process and if you had told me this time last year that I would be running a 26.2 mile marathon, I would have thought you were mad! 

Thanks to all of you for your generosity in donating to UK Youth raising over £11,000 to date, with more still to come in.  For those of you have made pledges, donations can continue to be made on this Just Giving website. 

I've recovered now - the pain was temporary, but the memories will remain with me forever.
