On 8th May 2009 I will be setting off on the challenge of a lifetime (well particularly challenging for me)  along with a group of 25 others in an attempt to complete three tough challenges in Borneo one of the wildest islands still left on the planet!

The event in Borneo (Malaysia) consists of three gruelling elements, these are:

1. 3 days climb to the summit of Mount Kinabalu (The Highest Mountain in South East Asia)

2. Cycle the Crocker Range Mountains (90 km per day through rain forests and on the ecuator...hot,hot,hot!!)

3. White water raft down the mighty Padas River!!

As many of you who know me, i'm not the slim Jim i once was, so on top of training both physically and mentally for this challenge i have set myself a target of losing at least 3 stone in weight!
