Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Me (Shakir Khan) and Brendon Sussams will be racing 81 miles throughout the Highlands of Scotland, as part of the Etape Caledonia

Its gonna be a tough one - we're aiming to do it in under 5 and a half hours. All 81 miles, with hundreds of other competitors doing the same.

We've managed to spend months conditioning our flabby carcasses into a vaguely sporting shape. We've fallen off our bikes alot. We've suffered punctures. We've ridden up lots of hills. But now we're ready (assuming no-one knicks our bikes in the meantime).

So please sponsor us will ya? Its for Amnesty International, an organisation which I beleive the world is a better place for.

-- Post race --

I did the race in 4hrs 42mins, whilst Brendon did it in 4hrs 30mins (roughly). Far better then what we'd aimed for, and we're thouroughly chuffed. Thanks to all who've donated.
