Well - I've only gone and managed to get myself a place running in the London Marathon - what a fool !  Its taken me 5 years of attempts and now its here I'm just a little scared.  HOWEVER - its for a really worthy cause. 

 My family and I have come to recognize the hugely important work of the Royal Marsden hospital in both treating and researching all types of cancer.  Having recently met with some of the other 2010 Marsden Marathon runners it has made me even more aware of the ongoing need for research and trials - it doesnt have to be a sorry ending. 

I hope that by checking out my page you will be able to help me to help The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign fight this terrible illness.

Its just under two weeks until the big day - training has been going well as has the fundraising.  Thanks to everyone who has already been such a HUGE support - I couldnt have done it without you.  I miss Jackie and Dave terribly each day but am pleased to be able to celebrate the recovery of other friends and family whom I love so dearly.
