Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
hi to all
Just wondering if you can help. I am currently training for the 'Virgin London Marathon' which is held on the 25th April 2010. It has been my ambition to run the marathon. Me and my freind fay have been training hard and doing long runs, its not been easy, all that pounding on pavement in snowy/icy cold weather. Personally speaking i have developed an injury to my poor knees hopefully my knees will be mended, i have a fantastic physio who has reassured me that illl be ok, but ill keep going!!!!!!!!! We are both raising money for different charities my friends running for epilepsy and i am running for 'Get Kids Going' which raises money to buy wheelchairs for disabled children to take part in sport by providing specialist sports wheelchairs. A manual light weight wheelchair cost £2,500 and a specialist sports wheelchair cost £3,200 and am looking for as much help as possible so they can do marathons, triathlons, tennis, athletics, mountain skiing, rugby, basketball etc. Get Kids Going! also helps and encourages British disabled children to compete by supporting them with their sports; training, physiotherapy, travel, design and development of sports wheelchairs. With your help many could become record holders and Paralympic champions! Get Kids Going! also provides personalised manual wheelchairs and trikes for children to use every day; at home, at school, and to enable them to play with their friends. We believe that all disabled children and young people should receive the right equipment to get them going!
So dig deep from your hearts and help me raise money for disable children to take part in sport by providing them with with specialist wheelchair equipment!
it a great cause and will give these kids a great start to live their dream. soo come on those who are still thinking about it.....pleeeease pleeease sponsor me!!!!!!!!!!
thanks
