Mel and I are raisng money to help support the New School by attempting to walk 150 miles on the Pennine Way in 12 days. We both work at the School and see first hand the great work provided by the care and teaching staff who provide a truly remarkable and unique education for students aged 12 to 20 who benefit from the specialist provision it offers. The New School also provides the social and emotional support needed by the students, enabling them to flourish: gaining self-confidence and self-belief as well as developing sound relationships with their peers and others.
