Story

I climbed the 284 Munros in Scotland to raise money for the charity back in 2006 and now that I have a little more time, I want to climb the 220 Corbetts (hills from 2500 to 2999 feet, the 224 Grahams and the 89 Donalds (hills between between 2000 feet and 2499 feet.  I plan to finish them by my 60th birthday on 2 February 2018 and will be inviting all my sponsors to climb the last hill with me and then of course we will party!!!

This is a huge challenge for me - I am a sufferer of colitis, which effects me both physically and mentally.  I don't even have it that badly but I still have some very difficult days.  I can only imagine what it must be like to have it so badly, to be in hospital or never be far from a loo........

Crohn’s and Colitis UK is a national charity in the battle against Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. They are fighting to achieve a better quality of life for the 300,000 people in the UK suffering physically and emotionally from these and other forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Ultimately, they want to find a cure.
