Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am running the Plymouth Half this weekend to raise money for the Friends of the Belarussian Children's Hospice (UK).  It is a fantastic small charity that is the main supporter of the first Hospice for terminally ill children in Belarus. Many of the children have 'second generation' illnesses associated with the Chernobyl disaster.  Without the help of this charity this inspiring place would close; there is literally nowhere else for these kids to go.

Please sponsor me, even a small amount will mean a lot..

Thanks

Simon

Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me.  The charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

About the charity

'Friends' supports the first children's hospice in Belarus. It provides care at home, in-patient care and respite care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses and their families. Their services are free. Friends is run by unpaid volunteers and our chairwoman speaks Russian fluently and has a place on the hospice's advisory board.
