Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Susan Phillips (formerly Douglass) will be remembered by many friends and colleagues for her bright and bubbly personality. She was always thoroughly professional at work but had a warm sense of humour and a very down-to-earth nature. I had the pleasure of working with Susan at The Guinness Trust and, more recently, when she joined Isos Housing in 2007. There is little doubt that Susan had a natural flair for developing new houses and was very passionate about making the most of any opportunities to build more homes for social housing. Susan was never fazed by challenges at work and showed the same steely determination in her fight against her illness. As you know, Susan battled bravely against cancer for two years before she died on July 8th. I am running the Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday, 17th October 2010, and would like your help to raise funds for Susan’s nominated charity, The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. My employer, Isos Housing, are also holding a charity fundraising event in memory of Susan so we hope to raise as much as possible for this worthy cause. Finally, Susan had many more work associates than I have managed to contact so I would be really grateful if you would pass on the link to my JustGiving web page to any other friends and associates who knew Susan.
Please help the ongoing fight against this terrible illness and donate as much as you can to this worthy cause in memory of Susan.
Thank you for your kind support.
