Sissinghurst Bun Penny Club is a registered charity (1031529) which supports single people over the age of 65 living in the Parish of Sissinghurst by taking them out for a Summer afternoon tea and providing a Christmas lunch. It was formed in 1959 and, to raise funds, Victorian "Bun Pennies" were originally collected. These were coins showing the Queen with her hair done up in a bun. As these became rare, new ways to raise money had to be found. including quizzes, sponsored challenges, coffee mornings and donations. Your support of this deserving Charity is much appreciated.
