Story

Hello everyone,

We are members of the Youth Development Squad of the British Disabled Ski Team and we are working towards being paralympic skiers in Russia 2014.

On September 12th we will be taking part in a ski-a-thon at Milton Keynes for the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA).

SIA gave us a large donation last year that helped our programme get kick started and we would like to give them something back. Please sponsor us and help us raise  £800 for the Spinal Injuries Association.

Amongst others, James Whitley (photo top left), Ben Sneesby (right) and Benji Millard (lower left) will be skiing from 9am to 9pm at the Milton Keynes Xscape. These skiers represent some of the best prospects for future Paralympic games - why not come along and support us.

If we manage to raise more than £800, then the remainder will be used by our parent charity Disability Snowsport UK for the benefit of the Youth Development Squad.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Disability Snowsport UK - The Skiers and Boarders Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor our team now!
