Anyone that knows me is probably wondering why I'm attempting to leave my safe little world of marketing & football and leap out of a plane, I'm not exactly the epitome of an "extreme sports guru"! The truth of the matter is that Sue Ryder is a brilliant cause and that it deserves me risking life and limb for.

Last year, my grandfather, Jeff Sloman, passed away with Cancer at the Sue Ryder Hospice in Nettlebed. Because of the comfortable, attentive and most thoughtful care he received during his time at the hospice, I wanted to express my thanks to the nurses who looked after him with the care he rightly deserved, and also help Sue Ryder by raising more money for what is a great cause.

To do this, I have decided to do something a little crazy and and try my wits at a tandem skydive. I've never done one before, so it will be no doubt very interesting indeed! When the video is done, I'll make sure you get to see it if I can post it up online somewhere!

Donating through the site is simple, really fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Sue Ryder Care will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

If you have a problem donating online, dont bash up your keyboard because their helpline is really friendly:
0845 021 2110. Their helpdesk is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and always happy to help (I should know, I spoke to them myself!).

Many thanks for your support, please dont forget to post a message for me after you have sponsored!

Thank you!!! Here's some video's to keep you entertained!
