Thank you for sponsoring me in the 2007 Flora London Marathon.

Well, despite the searing heat, I managed to finish the course.  Time was 4hrs 25 mins, which I was quite satisifed with given the conditions.  The training had indicated a faster time, but the heat and the crowds of runners put paid to any ambitions of a sub 4 hour personal best!!!

As I write this message 4 days later, I'm happy to say that I am walking less like the Tin Man impression of Monday!  I've managed no significant injuries beyond a couple of black toe nails and might even consider a short run tonight!  Someone told me once that running was addictive, but I never thought I would be possible.....

Edinburgh Marathon anyone?  Maybe the heat did get to me after all??!!!!
