Story
It's over for another year! Despite having a chest infection for the last few weeks and therefore finding training very difficult I ran on Sunday. Didn't beat last year's time but that was expected.
Thanks to everyone that sponsored me this year - it really helped me keep going. And if you haven't yet, then get your hand in your pocket (Gareth I mean you - you scroogley miser). Next year I'm going to double it. Yes, I'm on for the marathon so expect more begging emails in the next 12 months.
I'm raising money for the Lymphoma Association because my Dad has been treated for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma over the last couple of years. He's doing brilliantly at the moment but lymphomas can be a very aggressive form of cancer and treatment has to be equally aggressive.
The Lymphoma Association does a great job in providing support and information for anyone that has been affected by this form of cancer - patients, relatives, friends and carers. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Lymphoma Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
