Story
Hello!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. As you know, I'm going to be trekking up (and down) Snowdon on May 17 all without the aid of any trains, planes or automobiles! I would really appreciate your support in sponsoring me.
Sadly, it seems we all know someone who suffers with Cancer and in fact a brother in law of mine passed away last year, so all in all there couldn't be a better reason for me to get my backside in gear!
Those of you who know me will know that I have never attempted anything like this before and having such a low threshold to hard work, you'll be well aware that afterwards, it'll be unlikely that I'll ever be able to do anything like it again! So, please dig deep and donate what you can.
A big big thankyou to everyone who has donated or pledged so far (on and offline). As you can see, I've been lucky enough to have reached the target set by the organisers and needless to say, both the research centre and I are extremely grateful for any and all contributions. With this in mind, however, may I please encourage any future visitors here to donate anyway? The target was only a guide and of course the fund needs all the support it can get. Cheers.
Just to add, donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prostate Cancer Research Centre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support then. Best wishes,
Paul
PS: Who's hand is that eh?? This info provided free of charge to sponsors...
