Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In 2014 this event raised approximately GBP 740,000 for Macmillan, supporting the vital work they do. I probably don't need to say too much about the devastating impact cancer has on sufferers, survivors and their families. Most of us have at some time been affected in one way or another and indeed, by choosing the URL 'someone special' that's who I want you to think of, and dedicate your kind donation to.

The team would love to help Macmillan break the million pound barrier for this event in 2015 and every penny you donate will of course contribute to that effort.

The challenge is to complete 72 holes of golf in one day, it's not the jolly it sounds, it's 16 hours (hopefully no longer) of golfing and walking, covering some 30,000 yards, for a tremendous cause that will drive us on regardless of any aches, pains, blisters or heaven forbid....chafing!!

Thank you for being part of our challenge. We salute you, one and all.
