On the 24th March, I will be setting off to walk from Lukla in Nepal to Everest Base Camp.  The round trip will take 3 weeks and we will reach an altitude of about 17,500 feet.

I will be raising funds for Save the Children in South Africa.  They do fantastic work with children made vulnerable through HIV and AIDS or poverty.  Their programs are very practical and benefit a huge number of South African children.
