We organised and participated in a 20km sponsored walk on Saturday 5th November 2005, to raise funds for the South Asian Earthquake Appeal, which has claimed 79,000 lives to date and the number is rising daily.
The day went well and we had a great turnout. We started out at 12:00 and completed the walk close to 18:00. Fortunately the weather held out for us.
Although the walk has now been completed our fund raising efforts haven't ceased.
We would be really grateful if you could make a donation to this deserving cause.
Any small amount you pledge can really make a difference, so please dig deep and sponsor us online.
If you wish to donate offline then please email amaar@uxonline.com
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
