Story

Thanks for visiting the Stratstone Motorcycle Club (SMC) fundraising page.

We are an enthusiastic group of bikers looking to raise money for charity with a marathon relay ride out on 30th/31st August 2008.  We plan to cover over 1500 miles in two days with a team of 20 SMC volunteers througout the country.  Starting in two locations (John O Groats in the North and Lands End in the South) we will pass a relay baton from rider to rider meeting up on the Sunday afternoon at Stratstone Harley Davidson in Wolverhampton and party to live music, BBQ and charity auction with donations from our Motorcycle Partners including a signed Shoei helmet from Karl Bomber Harris.

We couldn't take part in such a marathon ride out without raising money for our chosen charity.  Sparks, The Childrens Medical Research Charity funds medical research into a wide range of devasting conditions that affect babies and small children such as Cystic Fibrosis, Leukaemia, Neuroblastoma, Spina Bifida, Pre Eclampsia, Childhood Arthiritis and many more.  www.sparks.org.uk

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: SPARKS gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now! Every penny counts.
