I was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma at 29 years of age, i went through 7 courses of chemo therapy, a stem cell transplant and a bone marrow transplant along with many complications and associated illnesses. i was off work for nearly 3 years and during this time recieved great support from family, friends and medical staff.

I am going to attempt to complete the virgin london marathon for a few reasons, i would like to raise as much money as possible for the lymphoma association as i believe very strongly in this charity and would like to raise awareness of lymphatic cancers and as a personal challenge after everything my body has been through i would like to see if i have what it takes left in me?

Training has been dificult so far but i am determined to see it through. Any donations would be really appreciated, one thing i learnt in getting cancer was that you never know what is around the corner so the more money we raise, the more awareness is raised and the more chance a cure will be found?
