Story

My name is Sam Howlett, I am 26 years old and live in Broughton Astley, Leicestershire. I will be running the Leicester half marathon on 10/10/2010 in aid of LOROS and The Matt Hampson Trust.

As well as raising cash for two local charities I will also be hoping to raise awareness of the Big Switch Off campaign, encourage people to make an extra effort to turn off electrical gadgets that aren’t being used and enthuse people to save as much  energy as possible during Big Switch Off week which runs from October 11-17.

For energy saving tips and to pledge to take part in this year’s Big Switch Off please visit www.leics.gov.uk/bigswitchoff or become a fan at www.facebook.com/bigswitchoff.

Many thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
