Story
As you may or may not know, a few weeks ago James Bassil and I cycled, on road, from Lands End to John O'Groats. It was amazing.
Well, not content with that, a group of us are about to embark on an off road extravaganza, from Coast to Coast, St Bees (Cumbria) to Robin Hood Bay (Yorkshire).
It's 200+ miles, and we will encounter many an interesting ascent along the way, so it should be suitably challenging.
The first ride (and previous ones) I did purely for personal satisfaction, this one I am not.
My brother in law Henry is joining us on this ride, and he has recently found he is a sufferer of Dystonia. It is a particularly nasty and degenerative condition. Google it or click on the link under the cyclist cartoon opposite if you need to know more.
I want to raise money for the Dystonia Society, and I would really appreciate your support.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Dystonia Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please, if you can, sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
