Story

The young people involved in St. Eds Under 16 football are grouping together (virtually) to raise funds for The Abingdon Bridge, to help them with the work the do supporting young people within our community.

To achieve this we are attempting to run a virtual relay from Abingdon to Berlin (taking the Google Maps shortest driving route, this is 1200km).

The aim is to complete this challenge in 8 weeks starting on Saturday 20th June, and ending on Saturday 8th August.

Members of the team, coaching staff, and parents are able to take part by completing a safe run adhering to current socially distancing guidelines as set out by the Government, the FA, and St Eds Football Club.

Each week we will post updates on the distanced covered so far, and how far is left to complete.

It will be challenging to reach 1200km with 8 weeks, but as a team we hope to achieve the target.

Stay safe, follow the guidelines, and lets get running
