Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 11th September i'll be cycling from Wivenhoe to Chapel (well it is the beer festival). En route i'll visit as many churches and chapels as possible - If you can suggest some interesting routes i'd be most grateful, participating in the Ride and Stride event, raising money for ChRiSM - Church Renovation initiative Saint Monica’s

The church needs some significant renovation and extension if it is to continue to be our place of worship for years to come. The present temporary structure has been our place of worship for the last 43 years but the parish has outgrown the current structure. Our plan is to provide a suitable place of worship for the next 50 years.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

FOECT, founded in 1951, raises money to help preserve our heritage by the making of grants for the repair and restoration of Christian churches and chapels throughout Essex and East London. The annual Ride & Stride event is a major source of income.
