Event: Flora London Marathon 2008, on 13 April 2008
We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

On 13th April I will be running the Flora London Marathon.  As much fun as 26 miles will be, I will be raising money for Alzheimer's Research Trust to spur me on.  This charity means a lot to my family, so please dig deep and sponsor me online.

The Alzheimer's Research Trust is the leading UK research charity for dementia, including Alzheimer's.  The Trust's ultimate aim is to find a way of preventing or curing Alzheimer's and related diseases.  Every year over 163,000 people in England and Wales develop some form of dementia, and yet, for every person with Alzheimer's, £11 is spent on UK research compared with £289 for each cancer patient

So please sponsor me!

Many thanks for your support.

Stephanie

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Research Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

About the charity
