I'm hoping to complete a 1 mile swim  in Lake Windermere with several thousand others  for Cancer Research UK in June. The event is titled 'The Great North Swim.' I know everyone is a bit strapped for cash at the moment but if you can spare just a couple of quid I promise not to send you photos of me in a wetsuit.
