We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Hi, thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm running the London Marathon for the Stroke Association in memory of my Dad, Viv, and my mother-in-law, Lorraine, who both suffered and died from strokes.

150,000 people, from infants to the elderly, have a stroke every year, and the disease is the single biggest cause of severe disability in this country. Any amount at all that you can spare as a donation will be hugely appreciated, as the association relies almost entirely on public generosity.

So thanks a million to all of you who part with your hard-earned cash to help me meet my target. You can win a free bottle of booze if you spot me on the day but to make it more dfficult I will stay out of the leading group!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Steve
