Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

For those of you who dont know my brother James tragically passed away last September whilst surfing off Watergate bay. He had an epileptic fit whilst in the water and got pulled to the bay by a surfer and an RNLI lifeguard. On the beach he was resuscitated twice before being air-lifted to Truro hospital where he remained in a koma. If it was not for the RNLI I would have never seen my brother alive, all be it he was being kept alive through a ventilator. The RNLI gave me 3 days to spend with James and that to me is invaluable and time that I will eternally treasure. So this October I will be running in 3 half marathons, The Great North Run, Henley Half marathon and The Great South Run all to try and raise as much money as possible for this worthy charity. The Great North Run falls on exactly a year after James passed away so will be running it with Ed (my brother http://www.justgiving.com/EdStott  ) and will no doubt be a highly memorable day. So please dig deep and give as much as you can and once I have done all three races I will post pictures!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
