At the beginning of 2015 Norman Finbow put out an invite to see if some friends and acquaintances would like go Trekking again in Nepal. A group of us went to Nepal back in October 2013 raising money for a local Ipswich charity. It also helped the Nepalese community financially by getting them to plan the route, lead the Trek and arrange the accommodation and food.

We were planning to go back to Nepal in February 2016 and do the same again but sadly on April 25^th 2015 massive earthquake struck Nepal killing thousands of people and causing the devastation of Kathmandu and mountain villages throughout the country. Our trip has been put back to October 2016.

Our fund raising aim is now focussed on helping the people of Nepal restore their Infrastructure and lives. Treks to the Himalayas have raised millions for various charities we now need to help the people and the country that organise them for us. We have chosen the charity “Community Action Nepal”. Please help with our fund raising aim.
