 I will be doing a 6 day trek in Tanzania in October 2010. I will be trekking for an average of 6 hours each day in sweltering conditions camping each night with only the very basic of amenities. This challenging trek has it all: wild, remote African scenery, amazing wildlife and the fascinating culture of the Masai. The trek will take me to the summit of Empakaai Crater, the crater lake and the Rift Valley landscapes of Tanzania most of which is conservation area.

I hope you will sponsor me , the money I raise will go the the Warwickshire and Northampton Air Ambulance (WNAA). The WNAA is entirely funded by voluntary donations and do an absolutely fantastic job of providing a great life saving service.

As an Consultant Anaesthetist at University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire I  work in a team that manage patients brought in by the Air Ambulance. Many of these patients are alive today only because of the prompt retreival and excellent medical care they  receive from the air ambulance staff during the first golden hour.

Help WNAA today as you may need them tomorrow.
