Fundraising for Education Partnerships Africa
Story
Hi!
As most of you know, I'm traveling to Kenya this summer, to the village of Kissi, with the Kenya Education Partnership, to teach and invest in secondary schools.
We aim to improve secondary school education for young people in rural Kenya. We are a student based organisation, working in direct partnership with schools and developing their capacity for self led growth. This is primarily achieved through equipping schools with a solid resource base, and also through supporting a wider, more holistic programme.
To achieve this I have to raise £1000 (excluding my cost of traveling and other personal expenses) to invest in school books, science laboratory equipment, water tanks and in exra curriculars like drama, sports etc. Moreover, during my time there, we will address social issues like AIDS, gender and health.
Your contribution will make this goal a reality!!!! £10 provides enough test tubes for a class of twenty to perform science experiments. £20 equips a class of twenty with enough textbooks to teach a subject.
So pleaseeeeeeeee be generous- any little contribution you make will go a big way!
