We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

On 9th October 2010, a group of young(ish) men from Nottingham will be attempting to complete the Mens Health Survival Of The Fittest Tri Nations Challenge.   http://www.mhsurvival.co.uk/page35.asp

This will require them to be at the peak of their physical fitness as they run/jog/walk/crawl (delete as appropriate) approximately 12km along Nottingham's scenic River Trent.  I know you're thinking this sounds easy, however, you'd be wrong as along the way there are a number of obstacles, both man-made and natural, that our intrepid heroes will have to conquer.  These will include them having to negotiate a muddy and wet army assault course, traverse the freezing cold lake at the National Water Sports Centre (twice), climb the hundreds of steps up to the top Nottingham Forest's City Ground and finally leap over an 8 foot wall!!

Why would they do this?  You're on this page so it must be obvious that it's for "Charidy Mate", namely CANCER RESEARCH UK.  All money donated will go direct to the charity and please make sure you remember to put a little dot in the circle to say that you are a UK Taxpayer so that "Gift Aid" can be claimed.

So please dig deep and give generously and give us the incentive that we need to make it all the way round the course.  I think we're going to need it!
