Hello and thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.

On Sunday i will be taking part in the Swimathon 2010 swimming 2 miles / 5km (that's 200 lengths!!!) to raise money for Marie Curie Nurses. 

The nurses are incredible and the work they do invaluable.  They work through the day and night providing care for patients in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of their own home.  They also provide essential support and care to the patient's families and carers.  

£100 will pay for 5 hours of nursing care in a patient's home...£160 will pay for a full shift. That means a terminally ill patient will get eight hours of expert care, support and relief.

Please help me raise as much money, for as many shifts as I can for this wonderful cause.
