Story
Tonight, starting at 11pm at Bakers Street I will be walking 15km (9.3 miles) through the streets of London to support Kisharon. Since 15km isn't really that huge a challenge for me, my lovely friend and co-walker Debbie Fox and I, will top off our exertions with an hour spin at 10am tomorrow morning. And that will be a challenge!
I know we are all inundated with charitable requests and I'm sorry to add another one, but any amount, however small would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a little bit of of info about the charity.
Kisharon is a special needs charity which provides vital support to hundreds of Jewish children and adults with learning difficulties and their families. Kisharon’s services include Tuffkid nursery, Kisharon Day School, residential and supported living services, an adult employment scheme, a bicycle sales and repair shop and Kisaharon’s latest social enterprise, Equal. The main aim of the charity is to enable people with learning difficulties to learn and develop the skills they will need throughout life to live as independently as possible and become integrated within their wider community.
