We have decided to run the Bristol 10km in memory of baby James and Harper Rose, and to raise money and awareness for babies who are born too soon. 

Our son James was born at just 24 weeks and was with us for only an hour and a half. In his very short life he changed our lives forever. He will always be a huge part of our family and a much loved brother to Josh and Jayden. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to meet our amazing little boy and just wish that he could have stayed with us. We are doing this run to support Sands, an amazing charity who have offered us so much support and understanding through the tough times.   

Harper Rose was born at 30 weeks and only lived for 5 days but made a huge impression on all our lives. She was a beautiful Princess who just wasn't ready for this big world. I have agreed to this ridiculous run because I am the proudest Granny in the world and I want everyone to know that and I want to help raise some money for an amazing charity who offer wonderful support to bereaved parents such as my lovely step-daughter Jaycee and her partner James.
