For anybody who doesn't know me, my name is Kerry-Anne and I own Cock A Snook tattoo parlour in Newcastle.
I have made a group on Facebook called "TATTOO THE TABOO" to raise awareness of mental health issues and also to do some fundraising to boot.

This group is for anybody who has or is suffering with any mental health problems or for people who have been affected in some way, whether it be caring for somebody who is suffering or these issues have impacted on you in some way.

I'm asking everybody to write their own personal experiences on here so that everybody, not just those who are suffering know that's it's ok to be poorly in this way and that it's definitely ok to be honest and open. Having a mental health problem is very very common yet we aren't vocal enough. Im hoping that this group will encourage people to ask for help and to realise that asking for help and admitting there is something wrong isn't a weakness. It's a strength.

I've organised a tattoo day on the 4th of July to raise money for MIND. If you are a tattooer or piercer and would like to donate that day's money, email me! Cockasnook@hotmail.com

If you want to be tattooed on this day, ask your favourite tattooer if they are taking part > get THEM to email me!

Tattooers and apprentices are also donating Merch and prints to be raffled. I will put details of how to purchase raffle tickets up soon.

Lots of original paintings have also been donated. They will be exhibited at a ticketed event for a silent auction in Newcastle August. Those who can't attend can also bid online!

There will then be a book for sale..... details coming soon!
