We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

We are running 5km for the Alberto Culver Run4Fun4Men to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This will be the 5th year we have participated in this event. David's aim this year is to not be beaten by Adam, which has only been achieved once before!

Cancer is a word that nobody likes to hear but it's potentially in all of us in one form or the other.Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much more work remains to be done if Cancer Research UK is to achieve their aim  of beating cancer.  The aim of the Run4Fun4Men is to raise awareness of male cancers and to raise funds to help finance future research and treatments.
