Story
On the 3rd September Kev, Ben and James are taking on the 2 Moors Way challenge, a gruelling trek of 117 miles raising money for Devon Air Ambulance. From Wembury on the South Devon coast to Lynmouth on the North Devon coast across some of the moors toughest and most rugged terrain. We’ll be walking on average a marathon a day for 5 days - this is unlike anything we have done before, but we are ready for the challenge.
We're walking for a cause close to our hearts. Devon Air Ambulance has personally saved friends and family members of both Kev and Ben. Without DAAT our lives would be very different so we couldn’t think of a more worthy cause. Devon Air Ambulance are a charity that provides critical care to those in urgent need, by land and air, across Devon and beyond. It needs the funds to keep two emergency air ambulances flying and four critical care cars on the road, delivering enhanced and critical care across Devon.
Please donate if you can – the training for this has been intense and we have all struggled with just a day walking at a time. The donations will keep us going. No amount is too small.
Follow along for our practice walks and to see if we can complete the challenge!
Thank you for your support - it really does save lives!
