Raising money for CARE International UK

A deadly quake is the most recent challenge for Haiti- a country already struggling with food insecurity, instability and COVID-19

Story

On Saturday 4th September Derek, Becky, Gary, Debbie, Robbie, Eloise, Lyndsey, Joe, Ronnie, Stuart, Livy, Lewie, Reuben, Jude, Richard, Leanne and Josh are taking part in the Nuts Challenge, a run full of obstacle challenges and lots of mud, this is to raise money for the charity CARE International who are providing disaster/emergency aid in Haiti.

In August, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti leaving 1,200 dead so far and 2,000 injured. At least 496 homes have been damaged and over 1,000 are in need of tents or temporary shelter.
CARE teams have begun distributing core relief items including tents and water, but many of the areas impacted are logistically difficult to reach so the full extent of the damage is unknown yet.

All of this is following the previous natural disasters that have devasted the country and they have not yet been able to recover from.
