Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have an amazing team of young men running this year for Boys in Mind Bath in the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 16th October 2022! 🏃🏃🏅

At Boys In Mind / Girls Mind Too We aim to empower boys and young men to talk about their emotions in a safe and healthy manner, to promote positive images of boys and young men, and to embrace and celebrate diversity.

Our organisation is unique in that it is youth led, supported by an experienced adult team. Young people are actively involved in all aspects of our work. One of our principles is to have young men leading the strategy as they are hugely underrepresented in the field of mental health and wellbeing.

Our film projects explore issues related to boys and young men not opening up, male stereotypes, and the importance of establishing safe and supportive environments where boys and young men feel comfortable about seeking help when they are struggling. See: https://boysinmind.co.uk/film-page/

We work with school groups to help them understand the issues around male suicide and mental health and the positive things which can be done to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Your donations are hugely appreciated. Thankyou! 🏆
