Thank you for donating to Bertie‘s Heart Beats.

I am planning to run 1000 miles from 27 March to 30 October this year. My son Bertie was born with Congenital Heart Disease on 27 March 2021 and he went to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in June 2021 for 10 weeks to have open heart surgery. Bertie was also born without a fully functioning immune system and whilst in Great Ormond Street Hospital received world leading treatment.

While he was there, 2 local charities supported us and now I want to support them. They are Children’s Heartbeat Trust and Heartbeat-NI. In addition, I would like to support the amazing work of Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
