Raising money for St Martins Housing Trust, TESH and Emmaus Cambridge

Story

My brother, Tim Danzelman, known affectionately to his friends as the big man or big fella, sadly died in Plymouth on the morning of 30th June 2022, aged just 43, after a lifelong battle with drug and alcohol addiction and mental health difficulties. Despite his lifestyle and his own struggles, Tim was a well loved brother, son, uncle and friend with a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he made a difference to so many lives in so many places. To honour his memory we would like to raise as much money as possible to support the charities in his three home cities who supported him.

These include St Martins Housing Trust in Norwich, who provided Tim and his dog Missy with accommodation and support at Bishopbridge House when he was living on the streets, Emmaus in Cambridge, who gave him accommodation, work and practical support during his time in Cambridge both before and after the birth of his daughter Gracie, and Shekinah Mission in Plymouth who offered support to Tim in his final years in Plymouth and helped to ensure that he and his family were treated with respect and dignity when we needed it the most.

If you would like to support us in this and make a donation in his memory, however big or small, please click on the link to the charity you wish to support in order to donate. On behalf of Tim, his family and friends, we thank you for your love, kindness and support.
