Thank you for taking the time to click on the link and visit my fundraising page. I am hugely excited to be running London Marathon on Sunday October 2nd and have been training hard despite a dodgy knee and an ageing body!

Having completed my debut marathon up in Manchester last year, I clearly enjoyed it so much, I'm back again, this time in London for what is sure to be a memorable day and an experience to savour.

This time round I'm raising money for two fantastic charities as follows:

Firstly Hatzola Herts who are a volunteer emergency ambulance service based in the local community and staffed by volunteers who are funded by charitable donations. Their phone number is one which needs storing on your phone but one which you hope not to have to use!

Secondly, The Nicky Alliance Community Centre. They are based up in the North West and I've heard first hand how they improve the quality of life for older, disabled and vulnerable people in the local Manchester community through the broad range of activities offered in their day centre.

Please feel free to choose the charity you'd prefer to donate to by selecting from one of the two teams beneath, or if you wish, you are welcome to split it equally amongst the options. I'm most grateful for anything you can spare and appreciate the timing of this appeal given the current economic climate.
