We are a group of close friends who have had many years of fun and adventure. Between us we have run marathons, cycled hundred of miles, climbed mountains, taken on big waves, rowed surfboats in France, Italy and Holland, always having each other’s backs. We have endured happiness, deep loss, fear and triumph.

Having previously rowed from Scilly to Sennen in a surfboat we have quite an affinity for this stretch of water.

This time round we ...Alice, Alex, Kim-Marie, Paula, Ruth and Tina will be swimming the 50km relay style.

It’s always a challenge open water swimming especially when so far from shore. We will have a support boat and kayakers with us the whole way, negotiating the shipping lanes and providing the necessary safety cover.

We would like to raise money for Surfers Against Sewage as they are tackling the environmental crisis head on. They have been instrumental in cleaning up our seas and are now leading the way in the fight against climate change and plastic pollution.We love planet earth and we want to see a future where humans can live here harmoniously with nature.
