On the 15th June, I'm taking part in Race the Sun, a 'dawn to dusk triple challenge' in the Brecon Beacons involving a 36 mile cycle, a 9.6 mile hike up Pen Y Fan and a 2 mile kayak.
I'm raising money for The National Brain Appeal and Action Medical Research.
The National Brain Appeal are a charity which raise funds for the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queens Square, London. I was in the unfortunate position of needing spinal surgeries in 2014 and 2017, and was lucky enough to have them performed by an incredible team at this hospital. I'd love to raise some money for them as a small thanks for what they did for me, so they can continue doing their incredible work for others.
Action Medical Research is the chosen charity of Race the Sun, further info below.
Thanks for donating some of your hard earned pennies!

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you.
Join our fight for little lives.
