We are walking from our home in Doddington to Ospringe and back, a distance of 13 miles, to raise money for Crohn's & Colitis UK. Lissie's son was diagnosed with Crohn's disease when he was 16, and in the 12 years since then he has exhausted 4 different biologic treatments, been treated for sepsis, had a bowel resection and earlier this year suffered a perforated bowel. The condition affects his life every day. We are hoping to raise awareness of this relentless and debilitating disease and to raise funds to support research into its causes and to develop effective treatments.
