Story

Thanks for visiting team Alfie's Journey fundraising page.

We've joined together to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity - Alfie's Journey Fund in memory of 6yr Old Alfie Bear who earned his Angel wings in June 2014 after a brave battle with an inoperable brain tumour called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

A Child will be diagnosed with DIPG every 9 days in the UK.

DIPG has a 0% survival rate and the median survival time is just 9 months.

We support 'The Brain Tumour Charity' because they do an amazing job in funding cutting edge research to find a cure for brain tumours, as well as raising awareness and providing support to those affected.

Alfie's two older Brothers, Tyronne and Ryan are also fundraising for The Disney Ward at Northants General Hospital and Kamran's Ward at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford who both cared for Alfie and the family throughout his Journey. Thank you to all our team members and supporters, we appreciate your support ♥ #TeamAlfieBear
