Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

I am running at various events to raise money for Myeloma UK. My Dad Clive Brooks who has just been diagnosed with Myeloma which is a type of blood cancer in May.

Myeloma, is a type of bone marrow cancer. Bone marrow is the spongy tissue at the centre of some bones that produces the body's blood cells.

I started the C25K program 3 weeks before lockdown #1 in February 2020. I realised that I actually enjoyed running & have now joined a local running club - Shinfield Running club.
