We have decided to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon together for Prostate Cancer UK and for our amazing Grandad, Reg

1 in 8 men are affected by prostate cancer in the UK. That’s thousands of dads, Grandads, partners, brothers and mates. But it doesn't have to be this way.

The money you raise could help fund lifesaving research into better tests and treatments for men.

Our Grandad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2024. He continued to live as he always did, still out dancing every week and making beautiful memories with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren until just a few months ago. Unfortunately, the cancer then spread to his bone and eventually his spine. When we signed up for this, we had full hope Grandad would be here with us to cheer us on. Sadly, on the 30th of November 2025 our amazing and loving Grandad passed away surrounded by those who meant the most to him. He knew we were running this for him and I hope he knows just how much he means to us and our family.
